Even if you are a performer we would ask you Purchase a Ticket to support the EMOM Festival. The organising team will also be purchasing tickets. Any money generated will be used to cover the venue, insurance, and incidentals. No wages, fees, or personal expenses will be taken by the organising team. Any 'profit' will be donated to a local Leeds charity (tbd). Tickets may also be available on the door for £3 cash, depending on venue capacity.
To keep the same informal and friendly atmosphere as your regular local EMOM, we've set the tone around the idea that you are 'down the pub with your mates' where all performers and audience are treated fairly and equally. Performance slots have been randomized throughout the day to ensure fairness. Whilst this event isn't being marketed for Children, they are allowed to be present. Please ensure your performances are reasonably 'family friendly'.
Please ensure you know your performance time and arrive at the designated stage 10 minutes early to set up. Performances are strictly limited to 20 minutes, and you'll receive a polite 2-minute notice at the 18-minute mark. Lateness will deduct from your performance time, as we must adhere to a strict schedule out of fairness to all performers. If you cannot make your slot or need to cancel, please inform your your EMOM Organiser so they can reassign it.
You are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of your equipment at all times. The venue and promoters will not be liable for any loss or damage. To minimize risk and ensure safety, we recommend keeping your setup as minimal as possible and keeping your equipment with you at all times, away from walkways and exits, when not in use. You may come and go from the venue throughout the day, so you may wish to store your equipment in your car (Trinity Leeds Car Park, LS1 4AG (1 Min)). Please ensure that all equipment is electrically safe and poses no danger to yourself or others. If in doubt we recommend taking out musician equipment insurance.
The venue is located in central Leeds with a co-op opposite. Outside food from delivery services can be ordered to the venue and consumed onsite. You are freely able to come and go during the day.
The performances will be video recorded by our technical team. Before recording, we will ask for your consent to upload it to our YouTube Channel. We respect your right to decline having your performance online, and you can withdraw your permission at any time, even after the performance. If you would like a copy of the recording for personal use, we are happy to provide one, and you will have joint ownership of the recording's copyright. Our YouTube channel is not monetized, and the audio will not be uploaded separately to any streaming platform or made available for sale by us, however you are free to do so. We will not be live streaming.
Please note that we cannot control audience recordings.
